Affordable home heating. Electric heating of a private house: how to cheaply make a do-it-yourself electric heating system

Oleg Viktorovich

I must say right away that I am writing a comment on 08/14/2014, and the place is the Moscow region. I think that at any moment everything can change regarding the cost of the systems, so I wrote the date and time.
1. Not everything is so simple with the main gas. Despite the adoption of Government Decree No. 1314 of December 30, 2013. my hopes for connecting a house in the village for 50,000 rubles. collapsed. “Break off” they answered me on the phone, pay an advance payment of 500,000 rubles! then wait for communism, but they officially answered (answer from Mosoblgaz dated 07/10/2014): “Until now, the Committee for Prices and Tariffs of the Moscow Region has not approved the amount of payment for technological connection and (or) standardized tariff rates that determine its value. In this regard, to date, it is not possible to prepare a draft connection agreement.” I note right away that firewood for 500,000 rubles. enough for me to heat my house with them for the rest of my life. In this case, I will not need to lay out the entire amount at once (and, as I was told, this is only an advance). (-) A very expensive connection, a lot of paperwork, hassle, etc. (+) Main gas is cheap.
2. Autonomous gasification system. Installation costs from 170 to 300 thousand rubles. BUT! After its installation, you need to conclude a contract for the supply of gas. It would seem wholesale purchase, gas should be cheaper, but no! Gas is cheaper at the nearest gas station. You can cook from steel pipes(solder their copper) collector and simply connect several cylinders to it, so as not to often run to switch them. At the same time, a battery of 6 gas cylinders can be installed permanently on a trailer and refueled all at once at a gas station. ATTENTION! Works with gas-cylinder equipment should be carried out only by specialists. Responsibility for everything possible consequences the author removes homemade products from himself. (-) Homemade or overpaid for gas delivery. (+) The price is after firewood, fuel briquettes, fuel oil and waste oil.
3. Electricity. Very comfortable and clean! BUT very expensive. There is an option for cheap heating - a heat pump, but its installation is sometimes simply impossible, because. the organization of a heat exchanger is required, requiring large areas or drilling wells with a certain heat transfer.
4. Solar oil. More expensive than gas and solid fuel. Cheaper electricity. More convenient to use than solid fuel, safer than gas.
5. Fuel oil and mining. Cheap but very dirty. I have not yet seen a single boiler room that was clean and did not have an appropriate smell.
6. Firewood, coal and fuel briquettes. At the time of writing this work, this is the cheapest way to heat, but you will have to run to the boiler.
You choose. I don't quote prices. They change from unknown factors.
I am currently installing a solid fuel boiler in my boiler room with the possibility of installing it in gas burner or solar burners. The boiler will also be equipped with an automatic air supply adjustment system. In parallel, I put an electric boiler with automation. Because a three-tariff meter is used to account for electricity, then at night (the cheapest tariff) it will be possible to heat with electricity. Mounted electric underfloor heating (heating cable in the screed). They are not enough as the main heating.
If my experience will be useful to someone, then I did not write in vain.

On the map of our homeland there are places where gas supply is not available. In this case, use alternative sources heat. What are the methods and options for heating country house without gas?

Furnaces

Firewood and coal effective method heating for the countryside. They have long been used to heat village houses. The advantages of the option are affordable raw materials at low prices. Disadvantages - the need to regularly maintain the fire, free place for storing firewood, the need to purchase and install a stove, boiler, and other consumables.

Electric heating

Electric heating has a number of advantages and disadvantages. Economical heating of a private house without gas is possible only with proper design and installation of equipment.

Note. To determine how effective the technology is for a particular facility, it is necessary to carry out preliminary calculations of heating and resource consumption in accordance with SNiP standards.

The advantages of the method include: minimal costs for installing appliances, no chimney and boiler room are needed. When heating rooms in this way, carbon monoxide is not formed, there is no risk of harmful emissions if the system breaks down. Despite all the advantages of the technology, it cannot be said that the method is the best way to heat a house without gas.

What is known about the cons. Electricity costs vary by region. The option may not be economically viable. An important drawback is the complete dependence on power sources. When the electricity goes out, the system stops heating the house.

Alternative energy sources

Heat pump

The equipment allows to receive low-grade heat from air, soil, rocks and reservoirs. The technology has been used in Europe for decades.

The advantages of the option are free heat sources. The use of technology allows to reduce heating costs. For every 2-3 kW of electricity spent on the operation of a heat pump, up to 6 kW of thermal energy is released. Savings are especially relevant, with the regular increase in tariffs, which is observed in the housing and communal services industry.

And yet, it cannot be said that this is the best option for how to heat a house without gas and electricity. An important drawback of the technology is the high cost of equipment. The cost of a heat pump is from 100 to 400 thousand rubles. Another unpleasant feature of the equipment is a decrease in efficiency at temperatures below -10º C. In addition, the area for feeding the equipment cannot be planted with plants, and its area should be several times more sizes the building itself.

Solar collectors

The equipment works autonomously. This is a big advantage over dependent technologies. Collector converts to thermal energy sunny. This is one of the best ways to heat your home cheaply without gas. During the operation of the equipment you will not have to pay.

Cons of technology

1. high cost of the collector $500-1000;
2. water heating only up to 60º C;
3. periodic replacement of the storage tank;
4. failure to provide 100% heat.

Note. A complete transition to heating a house without gas and electricity using a collector is impossible. The equipment is used as an additional source of heat to reduce heating costs by 40-60%. With the onset of cold weather or in windy weather, you will additionally need a water pump to disperse the water in the pipes. When the climate worsens, the collector stops working at full capacity.

Water heating

Popular technology allows you to effectively heat the premises of a private house. Are you considering how to heat a house if there is no gas? Take a look at hot water. Heating bills can turn out to be small, however, you will have to spend money on installing equipment, pipes, batteries, a tank, a pump. The technology allows the use of several energy sources:

The disadvantage of panels is expensive fuel (electricity).

How to save on heating?

A simple solution will significantly reduce heat loss. We are talking about high-quality insulation of walls, door blocks and window openings. This will reduce heat costs by up to 50%.

Of all the ways to heat a house, the most economical is gas. In places where there are no appropriate communications, other options are chosen. By clicking on it, readers will find out how cheaper and more profitable it is to heat a house with gas or electricity. Today it is economical to heat cottages with coal. Fuel is available. It is inexpensive. There are automated coal-fired equipment for sale. Its price is 1.5-2 times cheaper than heat generators.

What is the best way to heat a house if there is no gas? If the room is used as temporary housing, on short visits, a heater can be used. Among famous models more often choose oil specimens. A fairly economical and safe option is an infrared heater. The method is suitable for heating one room, not the whole house.

With the advent of cold weather, the problems of heating suburban private houses become relevant. They come to the fore and worry the owners of such housing the most. Therefore, many residents of suburban villages do not wait for winter and begin to look for ways that would allow them to comfortably survive the cold.

Heating with electricity

If you like the country house best, options for such a system are a must to consider. The main element in this case is an electric boiler, which includes a heat exchanger, heating device and control unit. If we compare such equipment with other types of heat generation sources, we can single out the absence of the need for human intervention. The user will not have to perform periodic cleaning.

If you are thinking about what options for heating a country house exist, then you can consider electricity as an energy source. It is especially effective in a place where there are strict environmental regulations. The operation of the described equipment does not create vibrations and noise, leaks of the gas-air mixture, and the devices themselves are completely safe.

If you decide to equip an electric heating system in a country house, you can choose one of two varieties, namely three-phase or single-phase. The choice will depend on the boiler, its power may be more than 12 kilowatts, then it will have a three-phase design. Among other things, such equipment differs in location, boilers can be floor or wall-mounted. The latter variety has a small size and does not involve the arrangement of a separate room.

Floor boilers are produced if the generator power is more than 60 kilowatts. This results in large dimensions. If you are considering options for heating a country house, then you should pay attention to electricity as an energy source, such systems can be single-circuit or double-circuit. In the first case, water is heated exclusively for heating needs. Double-circuit boilers can additionally heat water for hot water supply. This also applies to gas boilers.

convector system

Before starting the arrangement of any system, you should consider options for heating a country house. Among them, one can single out a convector circuit, which provides for the availability of appropriate equipment with a thermostat and a heating element. Heating of this type can be implemented using different models of convectors, which are wall and floor. The first variety is distinguished by an average height of 45 centimeters and a method of attachment. Such devices can be installed on the floor or fixed to the wall surface. As for floor appliances, they are long and narrow, and are installed under windows, in the area of plinths or under stained-glass windows. Despite the fact that such units are smaller than wall-mounted ones, their power is quite high, and it takes less time to warm up the room.

Arrangement of a convector heating system

If you are interested in options for heating a country house, then you can successfully use convectors that run on electricity. Such equipment is often used in those houses that are operated seasonally. Before starting the arrangement of such a system, it is necessary to calculate the required number of devices for heating the home. If the house is well insulated and meets the energy saving standards of the Scandinavian countries, then 20 watts will be needed per 1 cubic meter. With insulated walls and ceilings, as well as in the presence of double-glazed windows on the windows, 30 watts per cubic meter will be required. With insufficient insulation of the home, it is necessary to increase the power to 40 watts per cubic meter. Poor thermal insulation provides for an increase in power up to 50 watts per cubic meter. If you know the above values, you can determine the power that will be needed to heat the room.

Water heating of a country house: gravitational or natural system

Considering the options for heating a country house, you should pay attention to water circuits, which can be gravitational. In this case, the process is carried out due to the difference in the density of hot and cold water. The heated coolant acquires a lower density and weighs less, so it begins to rush upward, moving through the pipes. As the water cools, it thickens and returns to the boiler.

The main advantage of the natural system is autonomy, since heating does not depend on electricity. Water heating of a country house, the options of which are discussed in the article, is also chosen for the reason that the design is extremely simple. Among the disadvantages is the need to use huge amount pipes, the diameter of which must be large enough to ensure circulation. Among the minuses can be noted the lack of the possibility of using modern models radiators that have a small cross section. Among other things, during installation work, a slope of 2 degrees or more must be observed.

Water heating: forced system

When considering options for heating systems for a country house, you should take into account that a forced scheme can also be equipped in the dwelling, in which the movement of water occurs due to the functioning circulation pump. Excess liquid, which is formed during heating, enters the expansion tank which prevents water from evaporating from the system. Pressure control is carried out using a manometer. The advantages of this scheme are a small volume of water, as well as a smaller pipe diameter compared to the previous case. The user will be able to adjust the heating temperature of the radiators, the batteries can have any pipe diameter. The disadvantage is the dependence on the supply of electricity, due to which the pumping equipment works.

Arrangement of a water heating system with your own hands

The boiler used can be powered by electricity, gas, solid or liquid fuels. The most economical models are those that run on gas. They involve the supply of a gas main, as well as maintenance and control by specialists. If you use liquid or solid fuel equipment, then you will ensure complete independence of heating from centralized networks. The user, among other things, will have to equip the storage for fuel supplies. Before heating a country house is implemented, options should be considered. After that, you will be able to understand what power equipment should be used for heated rooms. On average, 1 kilowatt of power will be needed per 10 square meters, which is true with a ceiling height of 3 meters or less.

Pipes are traditionally made of metal, but welded steel structures can easily corrode. Therefore, it is best to use stainless and galvanized products that do not have the mentioned drawback. The most reliable option is copper pipes, which are able to withstand pressure and temperature changes, and also do not corrode. If you equip a single-pipe system, then the coolant will pass from one radiator to another. The temperature of each subsequent battery will decrease. The last consumer may simply not have enough heat to heat the room.

If it is necessary to repair the radiator, it will be necessary to drain the water from the system, only after that it will be possible to manipulate the failed device. If you use a two-pipe system, then it will warm up the room more efficiently. This is due to the presence of two pipes, each of which goes to the radiator. A heated coolant enters through one of them, and water is discharged through the other after cooling. As in the case described above, in the last radiator the temperature will be lower, but will be insignificant.

Home heating with gas

Heating a country house with gas, the options for which are described in the article, is advisable with the help of one boiler in the case when the dwelling has a large area, and the gas source is not cylinders, but a main. The most economical are condensing-type boilers, which can be located in a separate room where good heating a country house, the options of which may involve the presence of a single-circuit or double-circuit boiler, should be safe. So, the area of the boiler room should be 4 square meters or more. An 80-centimeter doorway should lead out of the room, and the presence of windows is also important.

From the boiler, fan-shaped from one comb, pipes should be diluted into separate rooms. In each room, heating can be arranged using one or two radiators located under the windows on the walls. It is important to remember that the condensing boiler has a minimum return temperature. At the same time, the system can be supplemented with underfloor heating, which distributes heat throughout the premises most evenly. Initially, the water gives off heat to the batteries, and then leaves the energy inside the floor. The simplest version of the underfloor heating system is a snake or a spiral made of a metal-plastic pipe embedded in a screed. Fitting connections should not be present in this case, as for the pipes that go from the radiator to the boiler.

Heating options without gas

Today, electricity is considered the most expensive type of heating: if you connect a simple heater, then electricity bills will increase. Electric boilers for this reason, they are quite often used as additional heating sources that work solely to maintain room temperature. Considering the best options for heating a country house without gas, you should pay attention to firewood, which is perhaps the most economical among other solutions. If you equip your home with a stove or fireplace, you will be able to enjoy the burning flame during long winter evenings. This type of heating also has disadvantages, expressed in fire hazard. But, before making a choice, it should be remembered that the price of firewood is much lower compared to the cost of electricity.

If you do not have access to a gas pipeline, then you can use solid fuel, which is peat briquettes. On sale you can find granular chips made of wood.

Liquid fuel

If you choose the most economical option heating a country house, then you can prefer firewood - they are the leader in budget after gas. After them, in terms of profitability, there is liquid fuel, namely diesel fuel mixed with oil. It can be used for boilers, which are very common today.

Installation of an air heating system

As practice shows, gas heating country house, the options for which were described above, is the most economical. If you want to use alternative methods, then you can use the air scheme. It provides for which warm air will move under the ceiling, occupying a large volume. One disadvantage can be singled out here, which is expressed in the fact that when fresh air enters from doors and windows, the operation of the gravity system may be disrupted, the upper part of the room will be overheated, which may cause cooling of the lower part. But there is also an indisputable plus, which lies in independence from the most expensive type of energy source - electricity.

If the house is three-story, then the heating system may provide for forced ventilation, which pumps heated air with a fan. The latter can be powered by electricity, and the coolant is air heated by a generator consisting of a heat exchanger and a burner. If you decide to implement air heating country house, do-it-yourself options can be equipped. To do this, you will need heating elements, grilles, electric fans and air ducts. In the heat exchanger, the air will heat up to 60 degrees, after which it will begin to flow into the rooms. Through the return air ducts, the flows will return to the heat exchanger, where they will begin to heat up; this mechanism will be cyclical.

In order to refresh the air, it is enough to open the windows. Some believe that noise in ventilation grilles and ducts is a significant disadvantage. If you equip such a heating of a country house, do-it-yourself options can be made by you. The air scheme does not provide for the installation of pipes, radiators and boilers that might be needed for water heating. As for the generators, they may well run on different types of fuel from the burner. Using the above elements, it will be necessary to assemble a rather simple design: the fan is initially installed, heating elements are mounted in front of it, and then an air duct is installed. In order to ensure work efficiency, the structure is closed with a box, and holes will be needed for air intake.

The question of heating a private house or cottage arises not only during the design or construction, but often already during the operation of the house. Most often this is due to the fact that energy prices are not changing for the better for us, we have to think about saving on heating. It is possible to live without heating, but it is hard, and heating is expensive. How to be?

Arithmetic and heating accounting

Save. Of course the most economical heating private house or cottage - to heat the stove with wood. But not every house has it, and not everyone wants to deal with rather troublesome stove heating. After all, it's the 21st century and there are quite a few technologies that are already declassified and available to the wide freezing masses living in the private sector. We want to talk about these heating methods and compare their efficiency with traditional heating methods. But first, some theory.
The most efficient heating is in any case an expense item. The price of heat is made up of many components, but we will try to simplify this scheme a bit. Gigacalorie is a unit of measurement of thermal energy and is used in all calculations related to thermal equipment.

Now let's move on to the practical side of the issue and try to heat a cottage or cottage in different ways:

 • electric water heater;
 • gas water heater;
 • heat pump;
 • solar system.

We do not consider the issue of thermal insulation and heat loss, but simply compare several of these systems in terms of efficiency.

Wherever there is an opportunity to conduct electricity, it is possible to install electric heating boilers. This is one of the cleanest types of fuel and with an uninterrupted supply of electricity, the inexpediency of its use can only be argued by the rising price of energy.

Electric boilers do not have energy-saving properties, but they are quite autonomous and flexible in adjusting the level of heating intensity. They have a high efficiency, the boiler itself is compact and has an attractive aesthetic appearance, does not require large maintenance costs. A significant advantage of electric boilers is that they can be combined with hot water supply. Electric boilers also have their disadvantages:

 • expensive installation of internal heating elements;
 • fast cooling coolant;
 • very high cost of electricity;
 • large required equipment power;
 • rapid freezing of the premises in an emergency.

Do not forget also that electrical networks have their own limits on workload and at one fine moment they simply will not be able to transfer the required amount of energy to the consumer.

Gas boilers and equipment

As for accounting, we tried to summarize all the data in a table without any conclusions. Only numbers. Here they are.

Therefore, there is no unequivocal answer to the question, but there are clear contenders for the role of favorites. But not today, but a little later.

For each residential building, whether it is a large multi-apartment building, or we are talking about a private household of one and two-story type, the organization of efficient heating is of great importance. There are a lot of existing heating options today, however, due to technical capabilities, not every house can be connected to gas. It is not always possible to supply solid fuel or liquid fuel boilers with the required amount of fuel. In such situations, home heating will become electricity.

Already at the stage of designing an electric heating system, it can be concluded that this method of heating will be much cheaper and more economical. Especially if we compare the speed of installation of electrical equipment with the laying and installation of heating systems of other types. Economic efficiency in some cases is a decisive factor when choosing a heating system. Despite the fact that today electricity is constantly becoming more expensive, new technologies allow the use of electric heaters with high efficiency.

The concept of electric heating should be understood as a fairly wide range of technical means and capabilities. Electricity is a unique type of artificially produced energy that can be successfully used for domestic purposes. Electric heating can be of two types:

 • with an intermediate coolant;
 • with direct heat transfer.

In the first case, we are talking about a system based on an electric boiler that heats up the coolant and distributes it through the pipeline system. In the second case, we are talking about independent heating elements and appliances powered by an electrical network. To heat the house, like any other room, convectors, thermal electric fans, spiral and infrared heaters. This method of heating is much simpler from a technical point of view. The only negative is a significant overspending of electricity, which will have to be paid. A separate discussion deserves a warm floor, a technology thanks to which you can truly achieve comfort in heating residential premises.

If we consider the ratio of opportunities and benefits obtained from the use of electric heating with other types of heating, then electricity will look preferable. Main advantage electrical systems heating - high efficiency. Other positive points include:

 • durability of operating systems;
 • ease of maintenance and operation;
 • reasonable costs for the purchase of equipment, installation and connection.
 • silent operation and high level of safety of modern electric heating installations;
 • lack of permits for the installation of electrical heating systems.

The economic effect is achieved through the installation of thermostats on electric heaters, due to which automatic switching on and off of the power supply occurs.

Do not forget about heating apartments with electricity.

The listed pluses are leveled by one minus. To install sufficiently powerful electrical heating appliances in the house, an electric boiler, it will be necessary to additionally equip the residential building with electrical distribution devices and devices.

Important! Wiring in the house must be able to withstand significant loads, especially in the cold season. In addition to everything, the electrical switchboard must be equipped with a multi-tariff meter, which allows intensive use of the nightly cheap tariff. The main task in the installation of electric heating systems is to optimize the operation of the entire complex.

Electric boiler or convector - what's the difference? What to pay attention to?

From a technological point of view, an electric boiler is the most profitable in terms of price-quality ratio. Before making a purchase, you should carefully study the technical capabilities and characteristics of the models on the market. Assessing the capabilities of the boiler, it is necessary to take into account the amount of work that new equipment has to cope with. In order to heat a house with an area of 150 m 2, according to approximate calculations, at least 150 kW of electricity per day will be required. Not every boiler is able to cope with such a volume, and not all power lines are able to withstand such a load.

The boiler is connected to the usual standard water heating system, heating the coolant during its operation.

Each model is equipped, which allows residents to independently choose the temperature regime. Automation itself regulates the power of the boiler based on the specified parameters, without requiring human intervention, providing the necessary savings in electricity. The water supply is also regulated using the built-in pump, so there is no reason to worry about the normal pressure in the system. Additional equipment that most modern models of electric boilers are equipped with today increases the functionality of the system and is aimed at reducing electricity consumption, saving you money.

In the process of optimizing the operation of the heating system, it is important to consider heat loss that are characteristic of the room. This indicator depends directly on the thickness of the walls, the presence of insulation, the number of doors and window openings. The main heat loss occurs through windows and doors.

Last but not least, the heating efficiency depends on the parameters of the selected electric boiler model. There are classic boilers with heating elements, as well as more efficient modern options- induction and electrode (ionic). Moreover, all of them have an efficiency of 90%.

For reference: Often, manufacturers in the accompanying documents for the goods write the efficiency of the model - 95-98%. The figures look impressive, although in reality the figures are much lower, in the range of 90-92%.

With the simultaneous use of a large number of electrical household appliances, the temperature of the coolant in the electric heating system can be reduced, saving on a balanced consumption of electricity. Each specific case provides different options for savings, in contrast to the use of other heating systems. For example, for heating a country house with an area of 50 m 2, an electric boiler with a capacity of 3 kW is required. Having the necessary numbers at hand, it is not at all difficult to calculate the number of kilowatts that will be consumed during the month with the continuous operation of the boiler.

For instance:

 • house area - 50 m 2;
 • electric boiler - power 3 kW;

We do arithmetic calculations according to the following formula: 3x24x30, where 24 is the number of hours in a day, 30 is the number of days in a month. We get 2160 kW per month with the boiler running, and now we multiply this figure by the electricity tariff that is set in your region.

All calculations are approximate. The real amount of electricity costs will be visible only after some time. Only then can you make an independent adjustment of the operation of the heating system in the house, determine the appropriateness of using other electrical appliances in everyday life.

If you need to organize heating in your own house without laying highways and installing numerous equipment, you can get by with convectors. Unlike electric water heating in convectors, the basic principle of operation is the convection of warm air. Due to the operation of the heating elements, the ambient air is heated. The system is almost completely self-contained, compact and able to quickly heat up small interior spaces.

Convectors are equipped with temperature controllers, with which you can set the optimal heating parameters. The presence of automation provides automatic switching on / off of the device, depending on the temperature regime inside the room. To install heaters of this type, you must have high-quality sockets and reliable wiring.

Convectors can be installed both on walls and on the floor. The cooled air goes down, getting into the field of action of the heating elements, heats up again and rises up, and so on in a vicious circle. Thus, the process of convection of air masses is achieved. The operating mode of heating convectors is 60-100 0 C. Additionally, the room can be equipped with fans, the operation of which will accelerate the air exchange of the air mass. Despite the apparent simplicity of the design and the elementary principle of operation, the heating of the room with the help of convectors is carried out unevenly. Under the ceiling, the air will be warmer, while cool air masses will be felt below.

In order to achieve savings when using convectors, it is enough to carry out a simple mathematical calculation that allows you to determine the required number of devices for normal space heating. Practice shows that convectors are effective in heating wooden residential and household buildings of a small area. In capital, stone buildings with premises of a large area, it is not advisable to use convectors. Large volumes of air quickly cool down, the time for heating the room by convection of air masses increases significantly. Consequently, the energy consumption of the heating system increases.

Underfloor heating - economical heating of a private house

Electric boiler, convectors are not the only options to equip private house effective heating system operating from the mains. Underfloor heating, which today has become fashionable to mount in country houses and in apartments it can be a good alternative to any other heating option. From the point of view of physics, a warm floor does not give a noticeable effect in heating residential premises, however, in comparison with the operation of other electric heating devices, thanks to a warm floor, it is possible to reduce energy costs for heating.

The desired effect is achieved through rational distribution of heat. Floors are known to be the coolest part of any room. Thanks to warm floors the coldest part of the room is automatically re-profiled from the cooler to the source of heat energy. The air heated from below over the entire area of the room rises in uniform flows. For residential premises, underfloor heating saves 30-40%, for heating other premises, the savings can be 50% or more.

With the help of temperature controllers, optimal heating parameters are achieved. Having independently determined the temperature regime inside the room, it is really possible to achieve significant savings in energy consumption.

The benefits of underfloor heating are:

 • an effective way to quickly warm up the premises;
 • acceptable economic indicators;
 • a comfortable indoor climate is maintained (oxygen is not burned);
 • simplicity and reliability in operation.

Against the background of the advantages that underfloor heating has, the only drawback of this electric heating option seems insignificant. The problem lies in the complexity of installing such a heating system, associated with the need to reorganize the flooring.

The preliminary calculation of the cost of heating costs in this case is as follows:

The approximate power of standard models used in everyday life is 1.5 kW per 10 m 2. We consider the average daily consumption and get a figure of 360 kW. For rooms of other sizes, calculations are made according to the same principle, the power varies in proportion to the area.

For reference: 360 kW x 2.5 (tariff 2.5 rubles, approximately) we get 900 rubles. And now we multiply the resulting figure by real square meters, for example 50 m 2. As a result, we have a figure of 4500 rubles.

Today, there is a wide range of options to achieve the necessary comfort inside a residential building using electric heating.

Each of us has the right to choose which heating option suits him best. An electric boiler, underfloor heating or electric heaters are options that solve certain problems. You can solve the problem globally by creating a capital heating system or solve issues locally. In any case, you can achieve savings if you rationally equip your house with heating elements, reduce heat loss in the room and optimize the operation of the entire energy system in the house.
